St. Benedict encourages us to welcome each person as Christ himself. Hospitality is at the heart of the Christian tradition and is about welcoming others into our midst and providing them with food and drink as an outward and visible sign of Christ’s abundant love as we gather together in fellowship.
The Hospitality Commission is comprised of a group of women and men who plan the parish community social events. The commission offers parish-wide breakfasts, pot-luck affairs, holiday celebrations, special events and weekly Coffee Forums and Iced Teas on the Lawn following the Sunday services. With a flair for creative menus and settings, the group plans, prepares and serves at these events while enjoying the benefits of camaraderie and fellowship.
