The ST. FRANCIS CHOIR is a group of children from grades 1-‐‑3 who love singing and learning about music together with their director, Mrs. Cheryl Standen, who also teaches music at the St. Thomas’ Nursery School. This program provides us with excellent foundation for the St. Thomas’ Choristers. An emphasis on good singing technique is begun in the St. Francis Choir, and we begin preparation for Royal School of Church Music chorister training by working in music theory books. We sing at the 9:30am service about once a month and also visit First Steps. We meet to practice Wednesdays from 4:30-‐‑5:15 in Groton House. Choir Dinner is served at 5:15 in Haas Hall after rehearsal.
