Derrick Goff- Director of Music – recently earned a B.M. in Sacred Music at Westminster Choir College, where he is completing studies for the M.M. in Voice Pedagogy and PerfoDerrick headshotrmance.  He has studied organ with Ken Cowan and Matthew Lewis, conducting with James Jordan and Joe Miller, and voice with Christopher Arneson.  At Westminster Derrick has sung in and accompanied the renowned Westminster Choir, as well as the Chapel Choir and Schola Cantorum.  As a member of the Symphonic Choir, Derrick had the opportunity to perform with some of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors.  He recently presented a solo organ recital at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York.  He enjoys working as a pianist and musical director for local opera productions, as well as accompanying choral ensembles in the Princeton area.

Lisa Lonie has been the Carillonneur at St. Thomas’ Church, Whitemarsh since 1999. She also serves as University Carillonneur at Princeton University as well as the carillonneur for the oldest carillon (1882) in North America located at The Church of the Holy Trinity on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. Prior to coming to Whitemarsh, she was the Carillonneur at Trinity U.C.C. in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for 15 years. She began her carillon studies as a teenager with Frank Law, carillonneur at the Washington Memorial Chapel Carillon in Valley Forge, PA and continued with Frank DellaPenna, Mr. Law’s successor. She is a carillonneur member of the Guild, and continues to service in several leadership roles within the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (Lisa LonieGCNA). Known for her musical wit and creative programming, Ms. Lonie has performed in internationally acclaimed carillon festivals, as well as for several national congresses of the GCNA, as guest carillonneur for the 2002 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) in Philadelphia, and as an invited recitalist at the World Carillon Federation (WCF) Congress in Aschaffenburg, Germany. She also is one of the featured performers on the CD recording, “Princeton Carillon, Class of 1892” and on the NBC television special “Ringing in the Holidays at Longwood Gardens.” Over 5,000 copies of her solo CD, The Bells of Christmas at Longwood Gardens, have been sold.
