We seek to help people of all ages to discover Jesus and to become disciples who are committed to transforming the world through Christian service and care. We offer a wide variety of outreach ministries that touch countless lives near and far while allowing our members and friends of our church to live out their baptism and use their spiritual gifts and talents to impact in wonderful ways the lives of others. We believe that faith should precede works of service, but that service naturally flows forth from a life of faith.
Nothing transforms us more than a hands-on experience of helping another person. Outreach Ministries at St. Thomas Church create opportunities for members of our parish and their families and friends to make vital contribution to helping others who are in need. The Outreach Ministries also provide financial funding to groups building brighter futures through transformative, inclusive, hands-on, sustainable programs addressing three areas of need:
- Children, Families, Education
Be an Angel Christmas Party , Harvest Fest, Summer Camp, Scholarship Program, Episcopal Community Services - Hunger, Housing
Interfaith Housing Alliance – Hope Gardens, Ministry of Meals, Mission Possible,Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, Emergency Relief, Visiting Nurses Association-Abington - Global Ministries

We thank you in advance for your support of our vitally important Outreach ministries locally and around the world. We pledge to use our gifts to the best of our abilities and to be transparent about the income we generate, the work we do, the impact we make, and the programs and initiatives we fund. Please view our Outreach Allocations for 2011 and our Outreach Allocations for 2012. We hope you’ll join us on our Outreach journey to brighten the lives and future of others.
