Lay Eucharistic Ministry

Communion and worship are at the heart of the Episcopal Church.  We who are many are one body because we share one bread, one cup.  For some, getting to church is no longer a possibility.  That does not mean that they can no longer participate in the Eucharist and share Christ’s Communion with us.  Specially trained Lay Eucharistic Ministers and members of our clergy take Communion to parishioners in the hospital and to shut ins so that they may receive Christ’s blessings found in the wine and bread of Holy Communion.  For more information, please contact the Rev. Hillary West at 215-233-3970 ext.125.
